Unfortunately there is no way to ever legally
can breed, but you
cant." The law will never support the breed in that way, and IF
it did there is NO way to keep the low scum from breeding for money.
Of course if I had it MY way I would permit TWO
breeders per STATE that fit the category of a "good breeder" to the F'n T
and have anyone else caught breeding arrested or fined.
So, who's going to actually play this law out? No one. Well, not anyone with the ability to do so.
The cold, HARD truth is that bad breeding will never stop and the number of euthanized Pit Bulls will continue to go up.
One can only rescue so many, and unfortunately we are running out of good people who are advocates of the breed, willing to take them in. This all just makes me sick! I wish those breeding every heat cycle on every bitch they have would realize they are ruining the breed, but they just donít care. They just donít care
's or any bully breed with someone who "just doesn't care" and it's nothing but trouble and a horrible final destination
for the dog
Perhaps if a large number of people would quit paying those BYBís for their shitty puppies, then they would eventually stop making money and quit altogether.
What we can do now as individuals is either adopt a bully, which GOD KNOWS there is one out there for you that fits the personality you want, or if you want a papered bully for show/pulling contest then buy from a credible
breeder. One you KNOW
only has a litter a year, or less. One you KNOW
has good quality dogs based on their working ability and what the pups parents have accomplished WITH PROOF. Do some research on the bloodlines and pick one that fits what you want best. Most importantly: DO NOT get a dog of any breed (especially a Pit Bull) if you canít take care of it and give it as much love and attention as you would a child.
K, I am done.
I am a little sour today. Last night 12 pit bull puppies came in and they all where almost starved to death. A couple had broken legs and one looked like it got bashed in the head with something. They ALL had to be put to sleep. The sad thing is, I didn't even shed a tear. I think I have seen this all so much it is not even a suprise to me anymore. Very sad, very sad indeed.
