Yes and no.
Yes because you want to expose them to as much as possible.
No because you worry about disease and a pup that young may not have all it's vaccines. Just because the pup was vaccinated at 12 weeks for the 3rd time doesn;t mean the shot has had time to work. Really 14-16 weeks is safer.

She should get attached to you by just being your dog. Separation anxiety is created by owners who never let their dogs get use to being on their own for a short while. Like always keeping the puppy with you even when they pee people will watch then bring them back in the house with them. Then when the puppies older we ask all of a sudden they need to be without us and that is when separation anxiety starts. So yes it is good to take puppies out to socialize but then there are time when you are home to let them be dogs in the back yard without you. So taking them everywhere and having them with you every second can have it's draw backs too.

No not really i work from home and I will throw the puppy out with the other dogs or by herself for 45 min or so then let her back in. The key is to give the puppy a few times a day to be a dog and not always with you. My older dogs stay outside in dog runs during the day then I work them at night. But I also have a working kennel so things are a bit different when you have 16 dogs.

Good post Lisa. I agree completely. I think that owners often feel bad for leaving their pups in a crate, or in a designated room, but it's really creating behavioral issues like separation anxiety. A pitbull was meant to be a working dog, but it's friendly demeanor makes it easy to teach how to be a lap dog. Thats the kind of thing that will have you run into S.A.

Pyro, your uncle is more than welcome to come and join our forum and take part in all the learning and sharing that goes on.
