Can a 7 week old show signs of aggression?
I'm not sure if my puppy has shown signs of aggression or if I'm reading into it to much, today I was holding him so he couldn't get down off the couch while my son was crawling around, he barked and lunched at my face. There have been a few instances where I've wondered, but he is 7 weeks so in not sure if it's just puppyhood or what

7 weeks old he should still be with his litter. The first 8 weeks are when pups learn bite inhibition and other things about being a dog from their mother and litter mates.

Things happen, pups are let go early, and it is then up to the owner to teach these things. It will take longer and a lot of patience, but it is possible.

At this age it is most likely a pup being a pup and being playful. Start training him that this is not an ok behavior.

My pup was abandoned at 1 week old, so I had a lot of training with him to get to a point of well behaved. Bite inhibition took a long time. He bit hard until about 8 months. At almost 2 years old now he is still very mouthy, but it is just that mouthy with no pressure.
