My second pit bull

I just got Bentley at 6 weeks he is now 13 weeks, the breeder said that he had castillio bloodline, my first pit was a American pit terrier. I'm worried that my new guy is not a full pit I saw the mom and dad and the dad was big but he almost looked a little lab in him , now some people are saying that he looks a little lab cause his snout is long , does anybody know about the castillio bloodline, here are some pics does anyone think he looks like a lab I don't see it

Without a pedigree there's no way to determine breed let alone bloodline, therefore without one your dog is not considered to be purebred.

I removed your other thread, please only post one per topic or it clutters up the forum.

A pedigree is a record of a dog's lineage. Their parents, grandparents, great-grand parents, etc. Where are the papers you just shared from? Did you get them from the breeder?

I was talking to the person I bought my guy from and they never registered the litter those papers are my dogs fathers papers so I looked up Fontanez Currupt and apparently that's my guys grandfather, they were saying if they registered the litter they would have to charge a lot more for the dogs apparently that the norm out here from the research I've done,, like I said I'm new to this so don't know if it's BS or what

Okay, but without a pedigree for your own dog, or any sort of papers, this breeder could claim just about any dog is your dog's grandfather and there's no way to prove it.

No ethical breeder charges extra for a dog to be registered and for a pedigree to be provided. Any breeder that does this is nothing but a scammer.

So unfortunately, regardless of whether or not your dog is actually related to that dog, there's absolutely no way to prove it, so there's still no way we can tell you for sure what breed or mix your dog is, let alone bloodline.

here's a link to grandpa's ped, if anyone's interested.

I clicked through his ped a bit. Lots of unknowns, but grandpa looks like a UKC showbred dog.

Couldn't find any of the other grandparents. However, the excuse the breeders gave you for not registering the litter scares me a bit. Sounds like you bought from a backyard breeder. If that's the case, there's no telling what your boy has in him.
Those might not even be his real grandparents. Paperhanging happens all the time, especially in this breed.

So it's free to register your dog ? They were saying that they have papers for the father but to register the litter it would cost them money there fore they would have to sell the puppies for more it don't really matter to me he is a great dog that's all I care about I was just interested about all this...

I also am apprehensive because I don't know why they have the papers of the father and not want to have them for the pup I wanted him to look a certain way and I think he will look the way I want him to, like I said I'm just happy he is a good dog and me and the family are enjoying him!!

It's pretty cheap to register a litter, $30 for UKC and 3 for each pup plus 10 for adba. Most registrations actually have rules forbidding breeders from charging more for papers. This is why you educate yourself before making a purchase, especially if you wanted a purebred dog who will look or act a certain way. I'm sure he will be a great pet either way.
