I'll be following this thread since my dogs shred everything too.

The one toy that has lasted the longest is a Kong football. It is rubber and has a tennis ball inside. Bert goes crazy about it. Haha

goughnuts are durable and come with a nice guarantee Guarantee

Elk antlers are great too, the current one my boy has is about 6 months old. It is about gone, but I'll take 6 months of heavy chewing on something that is also good for them.

I get mine from here: Elk Antler Chews | Premium Dog Treats & Gear | Mountain Dog Chews
They only sell Grade A antler, which is always that season fresh. The pet shops often have much lower grade which have sat a few seasons and are faded or all white. These can crumble or splinter, the fresh ones are fantastic!

The two toys that we have had since December and are still around are the Large Kong Red ball and the Starmark Everlasting Wheel Treat Dispenser Dog Toy, Black. Forget the treat, that lasts about two seconds. I would like to try the elk antler.

Hey Dicky, thanks for the antler link. I've been buying mine at the local pet stores and not only do they sometimes spliter but between Titus and Athena they will team up on the same antler and whittle it down to a nub in a weekend. I always buy two at a time but they will always want the same one, the one the other has, LOL.

What size or package do you get for Camo?

Goughnuts! My Opie has been trying to rip both his toys from them apart for almost 2 years and they're still going strong.

My vote and high recommendation is Goughnut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get a large split, which he destroys the inner marrow quickly but the rest lasts a bit, and a couple mountain medallions which go fast, but he loves them.

If I get a large uncut it lasts much longer, but there are so many nutritional benefits in the marrow of them that I want him at it.

My favorite thing about them is the quality. The pet store ones are crap in comparison.

Pocho - Peanut butter isn't the only thing to stuff in a kong (my one dog doesn't like peanut butter either). I like to layer the kong - bottom layer (closest to the narrow end) are crunchy treats or kibble, then a layer of soft treats, another layer of crunchy, topped with a layer of green cow tripe. Other people use canned dog food, cream cheese, sliced fruit, carrots, chicken feet, plain yogurt, whatever the dog likes. Freeze the kong for a longer lasting treat.

As a note, elk antlers are a bit softer than the deer antlers. It may guide your decision if an older or younger dog is involved.

Nylabones, antlers, kongs, jolly balls/eggs, mini tires. Mine also love the rubber rings off of bowling pins.
