Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. But we adopted a pup in July, and we were pretty confident he was a Catahoula Leopard Hound. But recently, someone has said they confidently think he is a pitbull. What do you guys think?
In the top photos, he's about 3-4 months. In the bottom ones, he's 2-3 months. He just lost his puppy teeth. I don't know his weight, but I'd guess maybe 30 pounds?
He doesn't seem like any pitbull I've ever raised, especially personality wise. But it's been awhile since I had a pitbull.
Our pup (Lucky) is one of the smartest dogs I've ever met. But he's stubborn as a mule. He listens when he wants to, but if something else has his attention good luck. He's very fast and agile, and has loads of energy. Although he's still figuring out the whole "leg" thing. They are always all over the place. There also is nothing he won't pick up. He is always carrying around (and sometimes eating) rocks, and those tree gumballs. He once brought me a dead bird. He tried to eat a log yesterday. I don't know what things are relevant for identification, but I'll happily answer any questions!
Thank you for your time
