Dry skin

Hey guys, I have a 10 week old Blue tri color American bully, He has very dry skin and is scratching constantly. I wash him once a week with an oatmeal based shampoo and conditioner, he is on a no grain kibble with about a 1/4 cup of ultra 24 in water per meal and I spray him 1 to 2 times a day and massage in vets best fast itch relief hot spot spray to sooth the itch. Is there anything else that I can do to moisturize his skin. Id like to try to stay ahead of it so his coat doesn't start patching!

If he has grain allergies, your first step is to stop washing him with a grain. Try Zymox, or Duoxo shampoos. Coconut oil for topical will see more relief then any of those hotspot sprays. It's also all natural and a natural antibacterial. Also rotating fish oil and coconut oil in his food will help as well. And if he has contact allergies to grass or other outdoor everything you can use a 50/50 water apple cider vinegar with the mother to wipe him down when he comes in from outside.
What protein is in his kibble? If it's chicken, try switching to a fish protein.
