Advice on pup I found

Hi everyone, I'm new here because I recently found this adorable pup and brought her home. I know literally nothing about her, her past or anything, and because of her looks I would like to know if she actually might be some kind of a pitbull mix.

https://i.imgur.com/R6To0vn.jpg

She weights 27.5 lbs and is, according to the vet, about 4-5 months old. She's fearful, very submissive and doesn't seem to be very fond of dogs (neither of mine; she shows him her teeth and snaps at him, though I haven't figured out yet if she does that out of fear or because of dislike).

And if you think she might be a pitbull mix, is there anything specific I should be aware of in relation with my other, male (pointer type) senior dog, my cat, other dogs (eg. dog park), off-leash hiking, etc., as she grows up?

Thanks a lot for your help

There's a good possibility she has some bull breed in her. Did you have her scanned for a microchip? Any attempt to find her owner?
Given that she probably has some bull breed in her and she is already showing signs of dog aggression, it is best if you don't leave her unsupervised with other animals and leave her on leash for your hikes.

Thank you for your reply, EckoMac. Yes, I had her scanned, she had no microchip and the two vets here are not aware of anyone looking for the dog, neither are there any lost-dog-posters around or anything. She's also quite emaciated, had pooped a coin and some plastic and was flea-infested, so doesn't look as if someone were overly bothered about her. But turns out now she has parvovirus, the symptoms started shortly after receiving her shots and now she's hospitalized fighting for her life. The worst part of the battle (hemorrhagic diarrhea and all the other shit that comes with the virus) is still ahead of her, no idea if she'll pull through :-(

Sad news indeed AngelaB. Probably was never inoculated, poor girl. Sincerely hope she pulls through and I have a heap of respect for you going through this with her. Please keep us posted.

Being older she has a much better chance of pulling through. If she stays hydrated she'll most likely be OK. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for your good wishes and crossed fingers.... and for the hope!!!

Diarrhea has not yet started, still only vomiting and she's already 28 hours with IV for hydration, nutrition and meds. So, aggressive treatment started early (since getting the test result), I hope that too plays in her favour. Vet says the vaccine she'd gotten just before her symptoms started might also help a little bit.
Well, we'll see; I can't do anything else but crossing fingers. It's really awful to know how much worse it'll get from now on forward and that there's just no way to spare her the horrible ordeal that is ahead of her (though I still have the -irrational- hope that she'll just skip the hemorrhagic diarrhea-part and go from vomiting straight into recovery...)
