Question about DA

So I was talking to my friend that I got Enzo from today and I asked her about Enzo's mom and dad having dog aggression. She said that they dont really show any signs of dog aggression and that they get along pretty well with other dogs. She said the only agression they show is when they are being territorial over their home, which alot of dogs are that way.

Do you think Enzo's chances of having DA will be alot lower since his mom and dad dont really show any signs?

It wont bother me one bit if he ends up having DA but I was just curious.

Only time will tell. My dogs are all heavily show bred. They are not completely lacking in DA but it is not bad. However I have had some pop up that think they are game dogs lol. So even if the parents are fine DA can develop as it is a breed trait. I would just play it safe to save your self the trouble.

Yea, I always have it in the back of my head about him having DA and Im always being cautious around other dogs. I mean he is still a pup and still wants to play with anything and everything lol but I still play it safe

none of Riley's parents were DA and Riley turns out to be DA only towards aggressive behavior in other dogs which is why she doesnt get along with Peaches too well. still tho i dont trust her so i keep her away from other dogs

My male, popeye, is not very DA but he has his moments. He was bred for show also though. Now the female, olive, is the biotch of biotches hahaha. She comes from the same parents as popeye but she didnt pick up the kindness gene that popeye has lol. Not all apbt's will pick up an extreme amount of DA but with the two i have being from the same parents it is possible for them to pick it up even though they came from legitimately calm parents.
