breeding help

i have a 2yr old female being bred with one of my males. the thing is none of my males are interested in this female. the female is on day 10 or 11 today. prime time for breeding imo, never had this problem before. my males normally are going crazy before, during, and after most female heat's on my yard. i have tried everything i can think of. any suggestions would be appreciated.

i was thinking that but she fully flagging running form male to male. my males have no interest in her i have never seen this. my dogs usually go crazy for any female in heat. they normally quit eating till they do their deed. nothing happening with my males. it's her 3rd heat could it be that she is not developed enough to breed? the female is not mine i am simply providing a stud service for her. i informed the owner that she just might not be ready. i'm puzzled never seen my males act like this.

Why is she going from male to male flagging? Do you have a particular stud she is suppose to be bred too should she be in a kennel with him and not running from dog to dog?

yea thats what i would assume shouldnt they be locked up in a smallish space together? and should hold the females leash while they go for it cause once the male goes for it she might have a change of heart.

I seen that video too. lolol..

Anywho, the female is clearly not quite ready. It makes no difference if she's acting the *****...if she ain't ready, she ain't ready. I've had males go crazy the entire duration of the heat. I've also had the same males NOT go crazy until that exact time. It's as if the male "knows"... They are all different. Not all females are ready at 10 days.

i have 1 particular male that is to be bred. he is 5 yrs old and a proven stud. normally my boy quits eating for about 2 weeks when there's a female in heat near. for some reason he has no interest in the female. i allowed the female to run my yard to c which if any of my males would show interest. none did. i am keeping the female and my male together in a 10x10 run. i am puzzled at this situation. ai might be the way to go. i am a fan of natural breeding sometimes ya gotta do what ya don't want to do.

Why not wait til her next heat? There might be something wrong that the dogs know about and you don't. Her next heat might be normal.

Lock them up together in a smaller kennel run. Also Nick sometimes has to hold the bitch's head between his legs to get her to be still so the stud can do the deed. And the old hold the leash or tie the leash trick works

Dude, seen this problem up close and never got it figured out. Best idea at this point is to collect you some gravy and do it the old fashioned way..... by AI. LMAO

Actually you dont HAVE to do what you dont want to, you can just skip the breeding not like there is a shortage of pups right now. Any time you have to push or make something happen it usually is a headache in the end. Maybe just send her home and tell them its not gonna happen this time around.

I was going to say AI too. If you think she is ready and do not want to miss the breeding then I would do an AI for a few days then try natural again.
When we bred Siren we could not tell when she was ovulating even with tests done at the vets. We did AI's starting at the 11th day for one week and on the 17th day she ovulated and we got two natural ties. Based on the whelp date of the puppies she took with the natural breedings.

Have you ever bred this bitch before? if not she might ovulate late like Siren did. Also just because a bitch is flagging does not mean she is ready. Siren flagged the entire heat cycle but would not let a male lock up till she ovulated at 17 days.

If your males are not interested then I too would guess she is not ready but you can still do a few AI's just in case. Even if the male is not sexually excited by the female if you know what your doing you can still collect from the male with the right moves.
Light a candle put some slow music on and collect your male LMAO
