Ok, so Kane has been on crate rest since Friday morning after he came up lame on his right rear leg after a playing with the neighbor's dog. I'm pretty sure it's just a soft tissue issue as he's shown remarkable improvement since then, but he still has another week to go so I can make sure it's resolved.
The reason for this post is that it's only the third day and we're BOTH GOING CRAAAAAAZY. Aaaaagh.

He's on leashed potty breaks and it's like trying to control a bucking bronco sometimes. He's trying his hardest to control the zoomies, I know, but still. And when he's inside, he whines and paws at the door to his crate and mopes and gives me his pit bull WOEFACE even though I've given him frozen kongs stuffed full of peanut butter, cheese, a little bit of cat food, and his kibble. He's got raw bones and his favorite stuffed toy with him too (the one he treats like a baby).
What else can I do?! I've been trying to increase his mental exercise with some trick training, but it seems like there's only so much I can do to compete with the zoomies building up inside.
