i would do it now, atleast before he turns 6 months . Alot of vets wont do it past 6 months some wont even do it past 4 months. Best bet would be to look up some breeders in your area who have breeds that are cropped, dobbys, am bullys, danes, bouvier ect , getting a recommendation is best then you know they do great work. Otherwise call around and ask vets but if they do them ask to see pictures of crops they have done and refrences to check.

Don't do it.

Floppy ears are great. I'm so glad I didn't clip Argos'.

I agree, plus Ive asked a vet around my area who specializes in the bully breeds, he said in cold weather area/regions you shouldnt because they can be more prone to getting ear aches.......

not true, I live in canada and I dont see more ear aches in my cropped dogs vs my non cropped dog. Actually over this past year or 2 i have seenless ear infections in mycropped dog vs loki who isnt cropped.

LOL welll if you ask me what i would do if he was mine I would crop but thats MY prefrence ... really just comes down to what you like. I have a hard time when they are puppys cause the floppy ears are sooo cute and soft but i find when I look at adults I am always drawn to the ones with a nice crop , I think it draws the focus to there head and makes them look so regal. But that will differ person to person. Not sure why the vet said that maybe they have reason to feel that that is true , from my experience { not just with this breed , the family had bouviers as well growing up and they are cropped} I have found the cropped dogs to get less ear infections. maybe the vet is against it and just trys to deter people away from it? my vet doesnt personally like crops and has made that known to us lol , but he respects our wishes and our likes and reasons for doing it which is nice. I like uncropped ears on other peoples dogs not saying natural ears arent cute but my prefrence is to crop.

I do wanna crop em, but I think my girl will go CRAZY cause he is still only 3months old and she LOVES his floppy ears, but its either get what I want or have too deal with her fire for a few months over it.......

LOL , well if she wont cave i guess your better off keeping the ears lol , last thing you want is a dog house with your name on it LOL. thats the only thing that bites is having to get them done so young when they are soooo cute with those ears. We went through the same thing with our 1st boy loki and by the time we were like " we shoulda got them done" he was too old lol, now every dog if comming in here young enough will have the ears done.
