Need Some Input and Local information!!

Hello, i'm getting ready to bring home a little guy to add to the family. Im so excited so i wanna get an early jump on getting things in order. We live in Atlanta. I have some primary questions but im open to any advice on raising and in my opinion the best breed in the world.

1: What puppy food do you recommend having a conflict with brand of dry food also treats and vitamins as well.

2: Im going to administer the 5way vaccines what are some pro and cons vs the 3way or 7way vaccines. i called me old vet she recommended 6way vaccines for all three applications

3: im looking for a vet to do a ear crop for a reasonable price. I really want a great job but by some one who really love the breed and good at cropping ears. Cause cheap is not the best route but outrageous price doesnt translate to quality. Im in metro atlanta

Well since I didn't get Odin as a puppy I don't have much puppy info for ya. However, I do want to point out that a lot of bully breed dogs do better on a grain free diet. Which is also handy cuz grain free food is an all life stages food, meaning u don't need special (often marked up) puppy food. I personally feed Acana Regionals Wild Prairie. In my area it sells for around $55 for a 30lb bag. But u can find it online with free shipping from chewy.com if needed.

I also want to say, good job for doin some research ahead of time and welcome to the forum! Post pics when u get ur pup, we'd love to see

I use a brand of food found at Tractor Supply Co. It is 4-Health. Grain free and comparable to higher end diamond, Taste of the wild. I have been feeding it for almost a year and have had good results.

I also get my solojec 7 from them.

I do not know on the crop job. I dont crop ears on my dogs.

I agree with Odin. Grain free is best. I also feed 4Health and they just came out with the grain free which I will be buying once our bag is gone. Cain has a chicken allergy and it seems like a lot do also. We feed salmon and potato. I have never used the shots you give yourself. I always take to my vet. Can't wait to see pictures

I'm not sure about your vet but a lot of our local vets require actual proof of vaccinations or they will administer them at your cost for a dog to be treated for a medical issue. Also the last 2 vets I've been to didnt recommend shots bought at the feed store because if they haven't been kept at the right temps they don't work. Not to mention at least in my state rabies shots have to be given by a licensed vet they can't be sold over the counter. My vet in particular only charges $10 for shots so its comparable in price anyway... As for food I agree with above grain free all the way. All of my dogs get grain free and I wouldn't feed them anything less. It's healthier.
