Any respectable breeder would take the puppy back and MAKE room for it....even if it was just temporarily until they rehomed it!!!!!! I sincerely hope that you will not be getting another dog from them or even recommending them to others!!!!!

I agree about the breeder.
My Dad got a chocolate lab several years ago from a very reputable breeder. She retired last year and sold her kennel/stock.
Dad's been very ill lately and Sasha is still a young dog who needs at lot of attention/excersise. Just in case, Dad called the new owner and asked if worse comes to worse, would he be able to find Sasha a good home? The new owner/breeder told my Dad he wants to continue maintaining the good reputation of the previous owner and would gladly take in any of her stock and place in good homes. I thought this was very commendable of him and shows he genuinely cares.
