In love with ears ?

Just kinda ranting here but I had thought about getting my boy's ears cropped when he was a pup but didn't and I am soo glad.. He seems soo much more expressive and he's chewing on his bullystick shin bone and he has his ears back. They're soo soft and I (weirdly) keep finding myself wanting to bite his soft little ears.. I often laugh when he hears or I make a noise when walking him (when he hears something from behind) how he puts his ears back..

I don't know why I love it.. Although he can be a PITA I often find myself falling more and more in love with my little boy and I've almost had him a year (since he was 8 weeks.) I know people have said they grow up quick, which is happening, but I look back at pictures and see him as a little pup in my lap and now he's becoming such a "big boy".. I don't have kids but I kind of get it now.. I had doubts the first 3 weeks of getting him in like "WTF am I getting into" but now I'm used to it and I love my "little boy" who is still growing

On a stupid side note, I've been teaching him how to shake and tonight right now he just started doing it for the first time !! <3

Hello mixwell,

Yours is the kind of rant I love reading. I am a fan of uncropped ears too and agree that their ears are so much part of their expressions. Congratulations on your successful "shake" session. I love it when the dog finally understands what you wants and performs the trick.

The puppy days DO go by so fast. Yea, you need to invest a lot of time but you also get to mold the dog the wast you want to.

Agreed. Shake was the hardest trick for my boy to learn. So weird! Lol. Glad your pup is growing into everything you want. Dogs rule.
