How big will he be?..

I have bought a puppie and i am curious about big he will grow?, does this depend on the size of his parents?, or doesnt the size of his parents matter?

Thanks .

Genetics will play a role in how big your pup will get. A good guess is double the weight at 4 months and that can give you a guess at full grown weight. It's not definite though.

There's no average. Just depends on the dog. My boy was 25-30 pounds at 4 months. He's almost 2 and weighs 60. Like I said, genetics will play the role in what your pup will turn out to be.

My boys 4 months and last week at the vet he was 32.5 lbs. I think he's closer to 40lbs now since he's getting MUCH more exercise now that he has ALL his shots then he was before.

What last visit?! Lol! ...A homesteaders dream! and believe ME, I wish! I hate going to the office on an appointment so much -I actually include the dogs in the farm call!
I think if more vets did house calls -the world would be a better canine place by far!

I pop in my vets they let me weigh my boy when they have an open room.

But get I any scale. Weigh yourself, pick up your dog and subtract the difference.
