So if you had a baby that was sleeping would you want the dog running around the house making noise disrupting the peace? Not saying this is the case but something to think about. Regardless as stated both parties are guests in the house and no ones a shot caller by any means. Let grandma call the shot since its her house WE DO NOT MAKE THE RULES AT GRANDMAS HOUSE. And to be honest I don't think grandma gives 2 s about any of our opinions. My grandma would smack both parties if me and my siblings tried some ish like that. probably even get a sandal thrown at us

Its a baby though.... Humans/Kids/Family before Pets and Animals (For the most part)

That's quite off topic don't you think? But we call each other husband and wife even while not having the papers. We're engaged to be married soon, If that answers your question. And it's not exactly a big deal with what I call my hubby. And as for the guest situation, it's complicated since I've essentially lived with them all my life, they're family, and they don't call me a 'guest'. So it's weird.

She states it was question of a om e time insadent. The baby was asleep. Inhis mothers arms. The pup was playing on the floor. The mother chose to put the sleeping baby on the floor. When asked to lay the child in the crib to sleep her sister got uset.

The baby is sleeping why not place it to sleep in a cdib or playpin..?

Both are gusts in the grandparents houe. Any how if baby is sleeping what is wrong with wanting the pupout?
THANK YOU, a million times thank you. It seems everyone got so off topic with what I really meant.

I never meant for people to blow up this badly on this... It honestly was a one time thing, and now Reesey has all of her time outside instead of running around inside just to be safe. And she uses her crate too, but I figured it's common sense to know that if it's a puppy, it's being crate trained o.0

And Reesey, while being hyper, makes not too much noise UNLESS she's in her crate, outside, or in our room. So she would've woke the baby up from the screeching in her crate since she still isn't fond of it. We're currently working on that with a trainer though.

When you've been here as long as some of us you learn to stop assuming things that should be done, are being done lol. We hear some crazy stuff and most of the time its things that should be common sense.

Kids always come first. IMO
Having raised 4 children I can tell you this -the first one you fuss over, and WAY over protect, the second one not so much -you become more secure in your ability to protect them, by the 3 & 4 -your more laid back cause ya have a good understanding of what's gonna happen.
I did always worry over even non aggressive dogs, and ecspecially puppies. It does not take a heck of a lot to change the course of a child's life by getting a scratched cornea, or facial scars. Until your pup learns to keep four on the floor, and no longer nipping for attention -your sister is right. No use in arguing with a mother. IF
You're looking at it from an aggressive attack situation -it does not need to be aggressive.
Another thing -you can get another dog, but you only get 1 of that little person, as a member of their family you should be doing everything you can to make their time with you awesome!
Play with your dog later, he'll wait
There are lots of great dogs, this world needs more great people
Good luck!
