my poor baby...
We had to rush angus into the vets today. He was jumping for a peice of food and when he landed he must have landed on it wrong. He Screamed and fell over. they took xrays and decided that its a possibility that he might have a hair line fracture in his right rear leg. *thank God it wasnt fully broken.

They got him all hopped up on anti inflammatories and pain meds and said he is really lucky he is so young because he will heal quickly and probably wont need surgery as long as the swelling goes down in a few days. Poor guy is out of commission hes not aloud to be on his feet other than to eat and to go out potty. He seems so misrable. Poor little guy.

Poor guy. If it makes you feel any better, Loki hurt her leg the exact same way, jumping up for a toy. She's never been quite the same, but we work within her limitations. Now I'm a lot more cautious about having the dogs jump for things. Here's hoping he recovers quickly.

Poor Angus give him a hug for me. I'm sure that he will be better in no time. I think that if you give him something to help build his bones you could still do weight pull. Davinci the one in my siggy has hip dysplasia he is only a year old. I just read that if I add Ester-C and a pk of plain geletin to his food I could probably offset the hip dysplasia. You could try that too. Ester-C is available at most stores that have a pharmacy.
