Stopped Eating?

Hope someone can help... my vet was not very helpful.

One of my apbt's has stopped eating his dog food. We moved about 5 days ago to a new house and since then he won't eat his food at all.
I called my vet and he says its probably just the stres of moving but he's getting skinny! He wont even eat treats he takes them and buries them in the backyard.
Totally abnormal, he's such a pig normally.
Anyone have any idea how to get him to eat?

My other dog is eating as normal. I've tried mixing wet with the dry food which usually works because I think he views it as a treat but...no go.
My main concern is that he's such an active dog and wihout eating how long can he keep it up?

Thanks!

Could be stress from moving but no dog will starve himself so he'll eat when hes ready .. what kind of food you got him on and how long have you had him on it ?

I feed him Taste of the Wild. He's been on it for about 4 months. Before that he was eating Black Gold but he had a skin reaction to it.

He's drinking water as normal. And he's going to the bathroom but I think that's more because hes getting table food from the kids, which is normal for him.

Guess he'll eat when he's ready, its just so unlike him...

Maybe that's it, he gets table food so why would he want his dog food?

Lol, i know that seems like the logical answer but really he doesn't get much.
Just whatever falls on the floor with my messy kids.
And since he's always been the under the table vacuum... hes always hogged the dog food.

Stress does crazy things to animals (just like ppl). He's most likely stressed in the new environment so his appetite is down, hes getting his usual kids meal, and he very well could've got into something you havent found yet and is eating it. He obviously doesnt have an obstruction or he wouldn't be going to the bathroom. Like everyone else has said just keep an eye in him and if he doesn't perk up in a coupke days take him to the vet. If he quits drinking water take him to the vet.

On a side note I know my dog ate way way less in the summer when I lived out in the country. I couldn't figure out why til I found him eating a bird. Hed been catching and eating birds and other little critters during the summer months. If you have a bird feeder or an abundance of squirrels or rabbits at the new house he may be getting his meal on the run....
