Future health problems

When my pup was given to us I took her to the vet and found up she was full of hook worms and coccidia. Now as she is getting older I always think in the back of my mind that those things sffected her growth as she is about 20lbs right now at 10 months where the rest of her littermates are more traditional sized "pitbull" sizes. Has anyone else experience this or have any knowledge of the long term effects of worms on dogs. Maybe I just have a small dog but im turning to the forum for answers and insight.

I've never heard of it affecting the dogs growth. That being said i reckin it's possible tho. I dealt with the coccidia and he a bull rite now! So my answer would be it dont. Sounds like you got a small dog!

Yea joe she is small but she is something else and active once she gets going. I look at her and think she is possibly the most beautiful dog ever. Maybe I do just have a small dog and that's cool. I'll see where she ends up at 2 years old. The most important thing is she is healthy and that's what counts.
