my first unplanned vet visit

will be this week. the best, sarcastic there people, part. it will be for both dogs and for completely different symtoms/problems.
Boomer appears to have gotten a nice abcess on an old sore. he got a good bite a couple weeks ago out at my sis's house when a friends dog and him got stuck under a table together. the other guy was not real fond of Boomer and his pushy ways. the original sore was doing fine but Boom either opened it back up scratching on his tree or while playing around with Nytro. so now it is pretty swollen and worth getting looked at.
and good old Nytro... has a freaking cough, well more of a hack. he is vaccinated against kennel cough, and hasn't been ill so i'm not worried about that, also Boomer doesn't have any coughing issues. so it comes down to, one: allergies?? Two: possibly his Hyoid bone is out of place due to his incessant pulling on his leash on walks and his rope while out at the river. or three: he has eaten another random item and it has decided to lodge itself in his throat. the coughing is worst first thing in the morning and when he gets really excited. don't know if that has anything to do with anything.
it's pretty crazy though, this is my first unplanned visit to the vets office in pretty much my life. i could have went without one all together though :)
