Switching kibble to EVO wanting info

After reading the kibble thread I came to the understanding that im robbing my dog of what she needs. I went and I picked up a bag of EVO today. Currently she is on Purina (now understand the not so pureness of it). I was wonding if there is a proper way of switching her. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Thanks guys and gals.

some ppl say to wein off one food to the other by starting with 75% old with 25% new for 3 days then 50/50 for three days and so on till the old food is gone others have had success with cold turkey off the old and straight on the new ive never done this so i cant give first hand advise but you can do either but they may have some diareah with cold turkey

Well a few days into the kibble change and im allready noticing differences. Her energy levels seem to be higher and she doesnt eat nearly as much. She is getting a little diarrea though. Should I continue to mix the foods or just get her switched completely to the evo.

EVO rocks. My dog has an effed up stomach and it's been the best so far. Max already had awful diahreah so I switched him cold turkey

I wouldnt recommend switching cold turkey!

It's normally ok, but since a pitbull is very good about masking pain, you may not know every time they have an upset stomach. Aside from that, the change is normally within a week or so... Either way just watch the stool

Yea I didnt do cold turkey Im doing along the lines Jeep suggested. I was expecting the change in stool for a few days. It seems to be going back to normal. Will not be able to check tonight because she is all ready asleep. Got her a flirt pole made and she is beat tired.
