My dogs not eating

Hi, I've had my pit for 5 months and he's 6 months old, he's never had a problem with the food ( Diamond Puppy ) but the past few days he hasn't been eating, the only way he'll eat anything is if I put it in my hand and I don't have time to hand feed him twice a day every day, I don't believe it's worms he's had his shots, he does have very minor mange and is being treated with ProMeris for dogs, could that be affecting his eating habits ?

Any other symptoms? Lethargy? Is he drinking? Throwing up? A healthy dog won't starve itself, so it's worth a vet trip to rule out Parvo or some other illness, especially if it is the early stages of Parvo.

hi
i don't know where you live, but fleas are not usually an issue this time of year. maybe you can stop the treatment and see iff his appetite comes back.
maybe give him a good bath to wash out the last dose?
could also be something in your house giving off fumes. cleaning products etc. sometimes that causes nausea and loss of appetite.

So I took my dog to the vet and they said that they couldn't find anything, and it turns out my dogs just a picky little f*ucker, so I went to my local Petco, and bought him a new food bowl after we went to the vet and took it home to him, now he eats normally. Idk what it was about the old bowl, he never had a problem with it until a couple days ago. maybe something got into it like a cat or racoon and it left a smell he didn't Like ?

Weird! Glad you figured it out and your pup is eating again.
