How much and how often do you feed your pup?

Hi, Hunter is 6 months old. Iím currently feeding him in the morning (6am) and afternoon (12-1). Every now and then he throws up at night and itís not much so I believe his stomach is empty should I spread out the times more? Increase the amount (2 cups per serving)... Send me your input

hello!! he is a good looking pup!
We have a 4 months old pup and we are following the package instructions, so because of his current weight, we are feeding him with 3 cups a day. (6AM, 2PM, 7PM) and he drinks a lots of water. He is gaining weight really fast so we adjust the qty every week

If they are eating only dry meal I concur with Borre97, 3 cups a day while they are pups. When the get to be a year or so you can adjust the amount according to the dogs metabolism and exercise regime.

My pup is little over 4 months and I feed her 1 cup in the morning (mixed with like a quarter cup soft food mixed in) around 7am

And I feed her again 1 cup at 7pm...

..so 2 cups a day dry and quarter cup wet daily

...the vet said she was gaining weight perfectly, now this most recent visit but a month before that, they said that she actually was a pound or 2 more than they expected... this time was better

She is 22 lbs currently...now that she got the last of her shots...and I can go out into the world more with her...Iím a start taking her to this basin to run around and walk...(tonight was the first time actually that we went) so now Iím thinking about giving her a cup and a half each feeding = 3 cups since she will be more active

..so right around what the others are suggesting
