Puppy Feeding Questions

I haven't picked my puppy up yet but I do have a few questions about feeding. I know she'll need at least three feedings a day, but my concern is that I work 1-9pm. Should her last feeding be at 9pm or should I have my SO feed her earlier than that? I haven't been able to find anything definitive on how long is okay for a pup to go without food.

Puppies should get at least three meals throughout the day. What time you feed them doesn't really matter as long as they're fairly spaced out.

My 6 month old is fed 3x a day at 8:00am, 3:00pm, and 9:00pm. I don't think that 9:00pm is too late. His stomach and energy levels are better at his age where the smaller meals are spaced out into 3 feedings.

She'll be 8 weeks when I pick her up. Wouldn't seven hours be a bit of a stretch for such a young puppy or am I looking at this wrong?

I'm sorry for the double post but I was also curious if you all have any experience with Acana? I was considering it against Canidae but was concerned about how much she would be eating and therefore the price.

Acana is a very good food.

You can feed your puppy smaller portions more times a day if it fits your schedule and as she gets older you can reduce the amount of feedings and increase the portion sizes.

Because the puppy's 'stomach' is so small, 6 small meals a day is best but ho can do that in the real world unless you are a stay-at-home mom or dad, or have a family member to help.

3 meals a day of a good balanced food is fine. I use Earthborn puppy, but any food that has a more natural ingredient in it, is best.
