Epileptic young female still having seizures

Hello! I'm hoping to connect with some other pit bull parents about their experiences with epilepsy/seizures in young pit bulls. My girl Venus is a 1 year old pure breed blue nose brindle. She's been having seizures for about 5 months. She's on 1,000 MG of extended release Keppra twice a day as well as some homeopathic pills from our vet. She eats a raw diet of beef with Dinovite. Her seizures were mostly clusters for the first 2 months and she was having them 3 times a week and now we're down to about 4 a month which as a dog mom still feels rough to say the least. She is perfectly normal after the seizures and loves running around and being a goof ball as much as ever. My vet has recommended changing her meds and adding phenobarbital. I'm hesitant to put my girl on too many hard drugs. I want her to live her best life and I can't imagine taking any of her puppy energy away (even is she still chews my shoes &#x1f644 at this point I'm willing to try anything before I put her on drugs like phenobarbital since the vet said she might feel drunk for 2 weeks after. I should also note I've checked my house for allergens that may cause seizures many times over. Thanks for reading!

There no such thing as a "pure breed blue nose brindle" also apbt (pits/pit bulls) DO NOT COME IN BLUE. you have a bully mix or a mutt. Not a pit pit bull a pure bred or anything but a bully mutt.

As far as the seizures I'd honestly put her to sleep myself. A health problem like that isnt fair to keep the dog going through because you think you're its parent or it is somehow a child or a person. In my opinion the humane thing would be to put to sleep.

buddy of mine has an american bulldog with seizures. he uses CBD oil and said it was like a miracle. honestly, i don't know much about it. might be worth looking into.

CBD

my pitbull mix is 12 years old and recently starting having seizures. they've helped keep them at bay. I recommend the 20:1 CBD tincture.
