Skin Rashes in Rescued Pit Bull Mixes

I have family Pit Bull but now my husband and I have been fostering Pit Bull mixes. The last two we struggled with skin rashes and I thought it was just from the shelter that we rescued them from and the fact they were puppies. The folks that adopted them are still dealing with the skin issues and I talk with them every week. They are now working on changing their food.

Now I just rescued another Pit Bull from the same shelter (around 2 years old) and she has the same skin issues. The vet thinks it is fungus/yeast.

Has anyone else dealt with Pit Bull skin issues and any advice??

This is well documented on this forum. The search feature is your friend. Look in the Health and Nutrition section and spend a little time reading. If you still cannot find the answer to your particular question start a thread and we will do our best to help.
