Exclamation My 4 month old will barely eat in the morning or none at all

So he started off fine eating in the morning and in the evening. Now he will barely eat a cup in the morning today he didn't touch it. He will always eat in the afternoon. I don't want to feed him once a day i feel like that's too much in one sitting. Is this something i should be concerned about? He is 4 months old and 30lbs vet said hes very healthy

Welcome Eddie_Spaghetti. Your pup should be eating 2-3 cups of puppy food a day. It really doesn't matter what time a day he eats it. Some dogs would eat it all at once and others will eat just when they are hungry. As long as the dog gets the required amount of food for it's weight it will be fine. You could try putting the daily amount of food in his bowl and letting him eat when he wants it. Just make sure that you are giving him food that is not a bunch of filler. Some times dogs get finicky and will snub food but know that a healthy dog will not starve itself. When it gets hungry it will eat.

Awesome thank you- He has taste of the wild Puppy formula high in protein not a lot of fillers at his second sitting he'll easily take down 1.5 - 2 cups in the morning its more of .5 -1 cup but this morning he didn't even try it sniffed and walked away so i ended up just putting it up.

Exactly the right thing to do. If he doesn't eat it in 10 minutes pick it up and try him again at lunch. If he doesn't eat it in 10 min pick it up and repeat till he does eat. Sounds like the rascal is trying to train you, LOL. Like I said, he won't starve himself.
TOW food is fine and you are right, very high in protein.
We would love to see some pictures of your boy. What's his name?
