Has anyone had an issue with spinal problems?

About 18 months ago my 5yr old Staffy fell on the ice and ruptured her spinal cord leaving her paralyzed. My vet recommended putting her down. Which sadly we did. She said it was not common. And that she had only seen one other dog with a similiar injury.
I rescued a wonderful APBT shortly afterwards. But now I am SO paranoid that this will happen to my new dog. Has anyone else had any issues with their bullies spines?

Welcome to the forum Rosenberg. Sincerely sorry to hear about your girls accident and demise. I assure you that it was a freak accident and that this is not a common issue with the bully breeds. Can't say I blame you for being paranoid after that.
We would love to hear some background and see some pictures of your new rescue. If you get a few minutes how about a new post in the Introduction section of this forum.
