Question Not eating

Quick question Tiki is about 11months old now and she doesnt eat like she use too dont get me wrong she wont go more than a day without eating but before i use to put her food in the dish and she would kill it now she looks at it and walks away sometimes she eats it sometimes she doesnt, she doesnt seem to be acting different like shes sick or anything just doesnt Hoover vaccuum her food anymore just wondering if anyone else has had this b4 and if its something I should have the Vet check??

Have you switched her food. My sister got some low calorie food for her boy Bruce cause he's way way over weight and he would just stare at it and look sad. He'd eventually eat it but you could tell he didn't like it lol.

i would go to the vet and get some general health blood work done, and run a fecal.
is your dog spay'd?

yeah shes spayd and she wouldnt eat her regular food then my neighbor who had to move got rid of her boxers and gave me there left over ol roy and tried to give her some of that and its the same results just eats it whenever she wants so i dont know what else to do?? I dont want to take her to the vet unless I really have to But I will if things dont get better.

well could just be that she is getting older she could be out of the puppy scarfing stage

Dont worry about the VET you have created this yourself.
First off put her food down for 10 minutes ONLY then pick it up. She doesnt eat in the 10 minutes to bad so sad cover it and feed it to her that night.
Again ONLY 10 minutes. If again she does not eat all then after 10 minutes pick it up. You will train her to eat like she needs too

What I mean by you did this yourself, is she knows she can pick cuz you are leaving it for her. She is in control .. you need to bring it back to YOU

Thanx guys yea I thought that it might be because she getting older too, and then also I was wondering if this was some sort of control game she is playing I will try that geisthexe.. Thanx for taking the time everyone and putting your thoughts

she just might not be hungry my dogs do that some time and i feed good stuff to em so i know its not the food try switchin yer brand of food to something better old roy is junk for a dog its like eating mcdonalds every day my dogs love taste of the wild and diamond brand lamb and rice try it out see how it goes
