I feed plain yogurt religiously to my petbull and to my chiwawa. They both get it mixed with their feeding twice a day. I add a raw egg with shells to the meals if they did work before the feed.

I forgot to mention why, yogurt has digestive enzymes = healthy bacteria that helps the dog digest the food better and strengthen his immune system. The raw egg is for added calories , fats and proteins for muscle recovery after hardwork.

plain yogurt has no flavor, you can find it anywhere. They have regular yogurt with fruit chunks and flavors, plain yogurt has none of the fruits or flavors =)

You need to be ure that you are buying yogurt with atleast 7 live cultures. You do not want to buy like yoplait. I usuaully by Organic yogurt I get in the organic section of the super market.

I've been feeding yogurt to my dogs for a very long time with very good results. Yoghurt is nutritionally rich in protein, calcium, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12. It's great for their digestive track, coat and their immune system.
