How to make dog treats..

Does anyone have any good recopies for dog treats? I'd like to try and make some natural hypo allergenic dog treats for Harley but Im not sure how to go about it.

I found a few recopies online but Im not sure if i can use whole wheat flour, baking powder, rolled oats etc. because he is allergic to certain ingredients(he is currently on IVD diet from the vet)

Does anyone have any natural recopies?

Here are a few i found:
2 cups peanut butter, creamy or crunchy - the kind with no soy (gluten)
1 cup milk
2+ cups instant potato flakes - the 100% real potatoes kind with no other ingredients.

Mutt Muffins
1 small jar of baby applesauce/or equivalent in *regular* applesauce
2 carrots
2 Tbsp honey
2 cup water
tsp vanilla
1 egg
Shred the carrots with hand shredder or food processor. In a bowl, mix all wet ingredients together and add the applesauce. Mix thoroughly.

4 cups whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp baking powder
1 Tbsp nutmeg/pumpkin pie spice

Combine dry ingredients.

I just made some not too long ago. No specific recipe, but I blended up some pumpkin(you could used canned NOT pie filling though) and then blended some oatmeal for oat flour. Added one egg. And baked at 400 degrees til I thought they looked done. I just mixed enough ingredients to make a nice easy to work with ball.
