Eating frenzy

My pup (12 week female) has recently started eating her food like it is possibly her last meal. She has never missed any feedings, nor does she ever have to compete for food. I don't know why she is doing this, but is this something I should intervene on? And if so how?

Puppies eat 3 times a day, how much and how often do you feed her? could also be a growth spurt. Any more exercise or activity? You could try putting a big rock in her bowl, it will make her eat slower because she has to move around the rock.

Thank you! I feed her twice a day Bc I'm at work... She does get pretty consistent activity both in the morning before I leave and at night.. She also has a yard and another dog during the day.
She has been growing like crazy!!! She was 17.6lbs a few weeks ago and she will go back to the vet on Monday but I can see her growth!!
I read about the rock and also hand feeding... I did the hand thing tonight and will look for a big rock... Thank u so much for Info!!

Twice a day for a 12 weeks old is ok, I don't use bowls for that reason they suck the food down too quickly. I just chuck the food on the bottom of the crate so they have to take time to pick up each piece of kibble. A growth spurt is also possible so look at the dogs body and if they are losing weight then add a bit more food to each feeding.

She is thick and solid, def not skinny! But not overweight either. Today I put a coffee cup in her bowl and it slowed her down.
What does everyone feed?

You should remember that dogs should be hungry and excited to eat! So that's normal I'm happy the cup helped out.
I feed Kirkland chicken and rice from costco for most my kennel, Then I feed a few dogs grain free from costco, and the others eat high performance Diamond naturals.
