Smile I need some help with my pup's skin!

Hey I would love to hear some opinions. 2 year old brindle pit, hasn't had any skin issues. Now she is loosing hair on her back, even after a simple scratch. Also is biting herself, as if to relieve a constant itch. I'm using Dog Chow by purina.

Well I would change the food ASAP. Purina isn't the best and these dogs typically do better when on a grain free food. You can find much better food for a good price.

Add a tablespoon of coconut oil as well as a tablespoon of ACV w/ the mother daily to whatever grain free food you switch to.

If she didn't have issue before I doubt it is the food. What has changed in your house? New laundry soap, cleaners did your yard get treated for anything. If you have the money I would take her in for a skin scraping.

My female had similar issues when she was a puppy.

I noticed by going to high quality , no grain food made a huge difference. I am a firm believer your are what you eat. Most cheap dog food is filled with grain , and nasty fillers.

Thank you all, I am going to change food, and get a skin scraping to check. Nothing new in The house to trigger this. Thank you
