Poop eating

I have caught my pup eating her poop twice already and I think she has done it more than that. I can almost smell it on her breath. How can I stop her from doing that even when I don't catch her. She just made 3 months old and there is no way that this can be healthy. Thanks for the help

What are you feeding her? A lot of times it has to do with something missing in their diet.
If that's not the case, then a little pineapple will help deter her.

I feed her acana Pacifica. And it looks like she would poop then every now and then turn around and eat it. Does the smell of pineapple turn them off or is it something else

It has something to do with the process pineapple goes trough in digestion. When it comes out is supposed to smell bad and taste worse. There's also a pill called D-ter that does the same thing. Acana is good food, so it may just be a behavioral thing. Try the pineapple. If it works use it for awhile and then stop and see if she does it again.
