Introduction of myself and pup

Wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself. Name is Ricky I currently live in Chicago. This is my soon to be 9 week Pit. Very active and full of energy. Always wanted a pitbull but never had an opportunity to own one. Hope you guys enjoy the pictures. His name is Spike.

Welcome to the forum RIIK from another Chi Town boy.

Spike couldn't be cuter. Looks to me like he is going to be a big boy. Love the picture with the baby. Thanks for the introduction and the pictures. Looking forward to more of both.

Joe

Thank you. I started noticing today that he might be starting to knuckle over on his legs. Might have to lower his protein intake or keep him in his cage instead of letting him run around our hardwood floors all day. I'm a little worried.

I noticed it when walking him today. He was shaking while standing and saw it on his front left leg more.

Agreed with TWadeJ - a vet's expertise is needed. Don't want it to become an issue for later in life as well Hope he isn't hurting! <3

That he isn't. His vet was just informed and he will be going in. He was just there and he checked out fine. This was just noticed yesterday.

I took him today. You might of misread the previous post. The vet did bring up a few things including his food. I told her that he's on Bully Max, and she said to keep him on it for now, that this might just be a genetic thing. That if it doesn't fix itself or if it I notice that its getting worst to bring him in again and they will do X-rays. That the knuckling is leaning forward and not out or inwards since that could be a bigger issue. She did give me Glucosamine and Chondroitin to give him daily. Also some fish oil to mix in his food once a day. Hopefully he starts getting better soon. She did sound very confident since she saw first hand how happy and active he still is, so that was a real big relief. Thanks everyone for the concern.
