LunaNThyra is an unknown quantity at this point
Hello

I'm new to the forum, my name is Stacey. I have 2 teenage sons and 2 pittys under 2 years old. Luna is my older pit mix she's white with liver spots over eyes and Thyra is the baby. We rescued her from a family friend that was afraid of her and tied her out because she had no training and we just got her at 5mos we're having to do ALL the training.. shes biting too hard, has aggression with food/bones and the 2 dogs are getting into spats quickly because Luna has had enough of Thyras puppy teeth at her ALL the time.

If any of you have advice Id appreciate it. I've never had to 'break' a wild puppy as Luna was an angel.. lol. And we've also never had to introduce a 5mos old to an almost 2year old before.

You do realize that as pits get older they often develop dog aggression? Even within the household. You will need to be prepared to separate the dogs. Please read up on DA issues and create and rotate. Certain pits will always fight no matter how much training they receive. It's in their genetics. I have 4 dogs. My 2 females cannot be around each other or they will fight. They each get along great with the 2 males.
