Just a few things about me & my bully. I grew up with German Shepards, Dobies, & Chow Chows. I got my first Staffy by accident really and fell in love. And have had Staffys & APBTs ever since. I lost my last dog in a tragic accident. That's how I ended up with my current Pittie, Luna.
Luna was a rescue. She was abandoned by her family when they had a baby. (Nanny Dogs, but whatever, my gain) She was in the shelter about 4 months during a critical point in her life as she was 10 months old when I brought her home. Her voice was hourse from barking for her family. Very riby. Her shoulder blades easily seen & felt. Barely 50lbs. With very little training (just sit & potty outside really).
She's now almost 2 1/2. Doing great and always at my side. She weighs in at about 65lbs now. Way better then the skinny little runt I found. Obedience training is going really well too! She's currently working on stay while I drop the lead and continue walking. We're almost there!
I'm excited to talk to other bully owners and hopefully help change the stigma that surrounds these wonderful breeds.
