Help- 2 dog owner and want to get a pit bull mix

Hello,

I have a family of 4 kids with 2 older Springer Spaniels and they want to get a an Amstaff/pitbull mix puppy. please let me know if that is a good idea. My concern is whether or not they can co-exist.

Thanks in advance for any guidance.

First, welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, there is no one here or elsewhere that can tell you if any two dogs can co-exist and with any bully breed the odds are less. It is possible that the dogs can get along with no problem but you also have to be ready for the chance that they will not get along and you will either have to rehome or crate and rotate.
That being said, if you decide to give it a try you will have to be keenly aware of the dogs body language so that you can be on top of things before anything happens. Hopefully, there is no problem and they all get along famously.
