Honestly nobody has to prove anything because regardless folks will still have their opinion and still be biased.... If it's not your preference it's not your preference but that doesn't mean one can go around discrediting anything, I always thought it was innocent until proven guilty not the other way around and on top of that what reason would one have to lie about something of the sort? It just wouldn't be worth it to me.... For first hand proof hit some pulls....

I'm not trying to be nasty either just being honest and speaking my mind like so many others do freely.

Why would you cross AM Bully to Gamebred? This is always interesting when I see this. Is it because you could not get drive from the AB so you had to cross more into GB stuff? If so doesn't that say tons about the drive and capability of the AB that the way you are brining drive is is to cross into GB stuff? what does capable of protection work mean? Have you had the dog tested for a sport like SCH or Mondio ring? Or when you say protection work you are talking about a guardian trait or HA?
I am not asking this to start a fight I really do what to understand your reasons for this post. It seems like I see this allot when they are trying to get drive from the AB they have to cross into the GB dogs. Why not just own a GB dog if you want a performance dog?

Well they should prove something if they want people to give there dogs credit for being anything other than designer dogs without the ability to work[which is what many folks believe today].
And it's not my prefrence so what, this is a chance for bully owners to show there dogs are more than 10,000$ leash orniments sold by people who would be better suited peddling used cars.
I would think people would be happy to post photos of working bully's if your not then fine, why post in this thread?

Oh for the record I have no issue with AB working, i think just like any breed it's a great thing to see dogs working. my comment was breeding AB and GB APBT's to make a better pulling AB?

if wree going to talk about mixing, lets not exclude other heavily am staff influenced lines like larsan, TNT, and collete. jmo...

my thought on that is breeding back to a larsan dog or something similar is still breeding to another APBT. When you are breeding AB to a GB dog you are breeding a mutt since AM is a mixed breed to begin with. I don't necessarily agree with a Larsan/GB dog breeding (I am on the fence) but breeding to a mix or a designer breed like an AB I don't feel is the same. That is another can of worms but I don't think has anything to do with the OP of performance AB's.

and I do not consider Larsan an AST influence as I have several Larsan dogs with no AST in the peds. I think you are talking about pitterstaffs that the larsan dogs are being bred to now, there are larsan lines that have stayed APBT's. I think mixing APBT's and AST's should not be done. IMO

I agree, unless the progeny is going to be better than either sire or dam, which undoubtedly it wouldnt.
As for mixing game dogs in to am bully lines.Im sure its done to add muscle definition and some heart where it has been lost in the breeding for nothing more than a bully apperance.
In short this is what David Wilson said of why he did it in the interview posted up awhile ago.

Wow!Those look like some hard nosed bulldogs right there,I wonder if they were in a play mind set or that was for real.
A lot better than the ick dogs i seen doing bite work.
Blue bull has a real nice looking og greyline dog diesal that is real hard nosed and a hell of a looker in the gallerie and that particular dog looks to be the real deal as well,i have no issues with bully's doing pp and im actually quite impressed.

Great link. It was kind of funny to see those things doing bite work but I bet they hit like a truck. Interested to know how long they could go for. As a whole most of the dogs on that page didn't look too bad but am I the only one that noticed most of those handlers were a bit AmBully themselves?

There not ment to go for hours or for work at all really, but when combat is required, man vs k9 time is not important and definetly not on the humans side, jmo.
I believe these dogs would be described as close quarter combat dogs,in other words a dog that does its work in a small space like confronting a intruder in the family kitchen.
It's safe to say that any man hit by one of those suckers better pray for there life, when i first started looking at the apbt for a pet and guardian i liked the dogs now called am bully,i imagined a brutal hard hitting guardian who's looks were enough to deture most any intruders, sadly as i did my research i realized they were bred only for looks and freakish apperances, but to see dogs like this doing what i thought they were intended to do all along is a good thing to see,i mean a working american bully is a impresive animal,to bad breeders of the strain rarely get it.

see what I'm saying, people post up working pics of the bullies and links of bite work and still there are side comments. People are never satisfied so again I say if you want proof go see some in person at a pull or at the clubs that do bite work etc. instead waiting for folks to post here and still get the lil side comments that could only lead to more fighting over nothing....
