Bahamutt hit it on the head when i say health testing I'm not talking about just hips and so folks know your dog can have good hips at two and have really screwed up hips at five so don't think you would just know that's not always the case... You need to look at the djd and sometimes it degenrates very slowly. Matter of fact I have a friend whose boys first score was really crappy she made them retest and it was a slightly better and then she retested again and it improved yet again so now penn hip has offered her life time free testing on him to do a study so there is more to it then if my dog had bad hips I'd know. On top of that some health issues you won't know about till the dog falls dead if you don't test hence the reason why folks get out and wp their dogs to have em die on the track. Better safe then sorry! Just like you won't know your dog needs a c-section till it's that time health aint no joke.
