if shes nervious, or unsure about where she's at that would do it.

give her a few days to adjust, and gain some trust.

are you using treats in calling her?

right now your new dog is feeling unsure because she's in a new home with new people. I agree giving her a few days to enjoy with you, but definitely take her outside to go potty on lead that way she doesn't run off. You'll know when she's feeling more comfortable because she'll show more of her personality.

yes you will definatly notice when she get more comfy when she settles in.

my pup still whines some times too when he's alone, alot of it is seperation anxity (spelling) which isnt uncommon in this breed. give her a few days to gain some trust, try hand feeding her a little even. lay by her and talk to her and stuff.

are you putting her on lead while out for potty breaks? if so does she walk around the yard good?

You need to google up some basic dog training information. The things you are asking are very rudimentary. Better yet, get yourself and the puppy into some classes. Is this your first dog?

My puppy did not want to go on walks at first either. He would just sit down. I was just persistent and would give him a little tug the first few times. Now he walks just fine. Sometimes I take treats with me so he will start moving. Now he is used to it.
