Four weeks old

My puppy is four weeks old and I have had her since she was a few days old. I am wondering when would it be best to try and start training her? I have already been stopping her from nibbling on our fingers. She still tries to from time to time, but I tell her no and pull my hand away from her. That happened a lot easier then that I thought it would.
So, should I start other training now or does this all start happening when she is around eight weeks of age?
Thank you all for the help

Start training immediately. Especially since she did not have those formative weeks which are incredibly important to a pups development.

I saw in your other post that the dam died and the owners just wanted to get rid of the pups. That is a horrible situation, and pups from those kind of situations tend to require more training. My boy Camo was abandoned at 1 week old, and hes been a handful, but is maturing into a wonderful dog now!

Post up some photos of Nina!

Thank you so much DickyT... I have stopped her from biting on us and it seems to be going good. I make sure to give her attention all the time and let her pretty much do whatever she wants. I am not sure if I am right, but I don't want to take her outside right now because I feel it is to cold so I let her just have the back room we don't use... We clean up the mess.
I was trying to add photos of her earlier and it keeps telling me there was an error and won't let me post her... I am going to keep trying until she is on here though

Use photobucket, copy and paste the [img] link. Uploading directly to the forum does not work and has not for a long time.

Has she been to the vet for deworming and started the shots? Or at least to a vet yet? That is a must with such a young pup. You want to be sure to get all of the puppy shots and dewormings at the right times to ensure she grows up a healthy and happy pup.

Stay up on the biting bit, it will come back as she gets a little older. My boy is 18 months and still very mouthy. What he does know well though is bite inhibition. He just mouths, not bites, and only hands at this point. Mostly just mine since I am the only one that roughhouses with him. My 4 year old son he just like to lick, and my wife the same. He loves to put my hands in his mouth though... I will eventually break him of this but it will be a challenge since I don't help the matter by roughhousing with him.

Keep her away from all other animals until she has had all of her vaccinations. At the 6 week vaccination you are safe to start taking her out in your yard and start potty training. Avoid public places though until 8 weeks.

Please stay up on the vacc schedule, it is very, very important.
