Looking for help: 7mo. old Peeing in the house (long read)

Background : Long time member but haven't posted in a while, we had to put down our Male Dozer a little over a year ago and finally decided it was time to get a pup.

This round we decided we didn't want a "puppy" but a pup that is around 4-6mo old and we lucked out finding Nala. A couple had two sisters and was looking to re-home them since they didn't have the time they deserved due to work schedule, we fell in love with Nala and took her home 3 1/2 weeks go. She is currently 7mo old (8mo on the 23rd).

She is an amazing pup, great with people, kids and other dogs, we have taken her to the lake camping for a weekend and have been spending a ton of time socializing her around other dogs, she has been great!

So here is the Gotcha... When we were taking her the original owners had said that she was very stubborn compared to the sister and that she was about 50% potty trained and they couldn't figure her out, I assumed that was just because of their work schedule.

But they were right, we have tried everything we can think of but she still pee's inside. It's not an every time occurrence either, it's like she does it when she's mad at us or just wants to act out. We let her outside frequently and she doesn't poop inside, just pee.

I watch her when she is let out and she will pee or poop every time but then we will be spending time inside and she will just get up and go pee in a corner randomly in the middle of playing with a toy, she even has went and peed in in the house after we wouldn't let her on the couches. We don't let her in our son's room (he's 3 and has a bunch of toys she like's to chew) so the other day I was in the room with my son playing and she was out side the door whining to get in, after a bit of playing we left his room and she followed but we forgot something in his room so we went back into it and while looking for a toy we left the door open and she pee'd on his carpet then ran out the room LOL.

She is all about being a lap dog, she came from a house where she was allowed to be on couches and loves to cuddle so the first week we had her we let her cuddle on the couches but during our time to break her from that (going good with not getting on couches) as we would tell her know she would get mad and go pee.

We're unsure of really how to get her to stop, we've tried letting her out every hour on the hour. catching her mid pee and telling her no then putting her outside. Just kinda at a lost at this point so any advice will help.

Here are a couple pics of her.

Have you had her to a vet? It very well could be a medical issue. All three of mine have had issues with UTI's and that is one of the symptoms. I would have her checked by a vet to make sure it's not medically related as a first step.

We just had her spayed the other day and she checked out good for her checkup but I didn't specifically ask about the UTI, worth a shot I guess.

I still almost think it's malicious LOL.. After telling her not to do certain things she will pee, but lately it has been random peeing thru the house no matter how many times we let her out and how often. And each time we let her out she does go pee or poop so it's not like she doesn't go outside either.

Dogs don't think that way. It's most likely medical in issue. I had a female pup that turned out to have been born with a very tiny bladder and this was a pup that got to be 60 lbs. Turns out her mother and one of her siblings had the same physical issue so she got rehomed to a person who had a dog door and it worked well for her.
