Won't listen to the word NO.
Hello, so I am having an issue with my pitbull puppy. He is 2 months old and I have had him since he was 3.5 weeks old. I know that is a very young age, but his mama stopped nursing him so I took him in right away. He is a handful and has a strong personality. Fits in with our family perfect. The issue I am having is he does not listen when being told no. He use to listen very well. But now when he is curious or wants to do something he doesn't care if he is told no he will continue to try getting the item, or biting my hands and feet. I try positive reinforcement, but he doesn't seem to care if I am happy as long as he is happy. I have tried startling him with a shaker and he just got use to the noise after using it a few times. He looks at me then continues doing what he's doing. I have tried tapping him on the shoulder to get his attention but then he thinks you're playing and tries to bite. And 95% of the time when I tell him no he throws a puppy tantrum and whines, growls, barks, or all three at me.
I am at a loss of what to do. He is now old enough for obedience classes and i live in a small town the closest classes are 1.5 hours away. I work from home so i have time to work with him, but I don't know what to do or how to work on it.
