Angry back track on kennel training help..

As pup my dog did GREAT with potty training and kennel training now he is almost 4 months and I leave for 2 hours and come back to poo and tonight really got me pissed.I took BOTH dogs out and they did there thing and then they came back in after awhile in yard(45-hour) we were out cleaning so let them have full range and went to take kids out trick or treating and kassee forgot her coat after 15 minutes of being kenneled I walked into my house to smell dog poo a pile of it.NO runs or anything.Any ideas why the regression?

4 months old is not old enough to be trusted if left out of the crate. My girl had to be left in for almost 2 years...not only for the potty issue within the first year or so but for the puppy chewing as well.

If I had to guess, I would say out of spite. Everyone was getting ready to have some fun but him. He did the only thing he could to show you that he wasn't happy.

i know they can't hold their bladder for too long until they are 6 months. then i would give them more time in the crate. Also, excitement makes them really loose their bowels. Seperation anxiety usually gets them excited and then... there u go.

just one view of what it could be.

Yeah, 4mo's in still pretty young. I agree with the 6mo marker when you'll notice that they really try NOT to have an accident. Kasha's 11mo now and is doing Great!!!! NO ACCIDENTS in a long time. And no accidents when she's able to roam around on her own.
