I have not been on the board for a very long time Coach, because yes I have been scammed. When I feel up to it, I can copy and paste the conversations and post them here. It is just unreal. The whole thing. Long story short, I have already had an interview with the RCMP in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where they have taken all the emails and evidence regarding this..turns out the person I was dealing with was impersonating their daughter in law...or vice versa..I really don't know. But I did not get my money and the Calgary Police, where this dog is originally from, have now been assigned to investigate. I am afraid everything was a lie, right down to the fact she had that congestive heart failure condition. All of it. Lies lies and more lies. To top it off, they offered me a new dog which I declined asking for my money back. Did not hear from them for a week, and find the little girl I bought, back up for sale on Hoobly! I took a screen shot for the police and have every last lie printed from my emails from them. My options, they can try get my money back, or press charges. I await to hear from them, and it's been 2 months now. 1200 bucks down the drain. But...I can tell you this. Getting this brand new baby has taken it all away. I don't care anymore about what happened. Sure I want to see a conviction, or money back, whatever. I am now a brand new mother again, after waiting over a year since the death of my pit Elektra. My heart is filled with so much love that nothing can take that away. Not even those crooks that scammed me. I actually won't be showing her. My plans with this girl is to start service dog training, specializing in psychiatric disorders. I feel that since my last pit was a service dog, that I will try again with this new girl. If it does not work out, at least I have a loyal companion for the next decade or so. And that is all I have ever wanted.
