I've only ever owned one pup, and not currently in the position to get another pup at the moment. When my brother moved and couldn't bring his pup with him I took Piggy for him. I didn't have her for very long before she got sick and had to be euthanized. She was a rescue, so we didn't know much about her background or history. We are pretty sure she was abused at one point, because she had severe separation anxiety and hated men that looked a certain way. She was incredibly sweet and gentle and was my first exposure to pitbulls. I fell in love with her immediately and changed my and everyone she met minds about the breed. She made me believe that a person not only has a soul mate, but also a soul pup. We bonded so fast and deep. I still miss her after a few years. When I'm finally able to get another pup I'd like to rescue another pitbull. I'd like to learn everything I can and hear other people's experiences with the breed so I can be a better advocate. I'm trying to add the link to the imgur album I have of her, this is my first post and hopefully the link works.
