How old is too old for socialization training?

There is an elderly man who is trying to re-home his 14 month old Razor's Edge Pit Bull. He hasn't had a lot of socialization due to the man's health, which worries me. I plan on taking the dog on vacations and other trips with me, but was wondering if 14 months is too old for socialization training. I have worked with a lot of dogs in the past, but never at this age and was hoping for some input. I don't want to just turn my head from a potentially wonderful dog and I don't want to put the dog in a bad situation. I just needed some knowledge on the bloodlines and age before jumping in. Thank you in advance!

P.S.
Any thoughts you may have are helpful!

It's never too late to work on socialization and training, but you may find that a dog that had less socialization as a puppy can be less confident and/or take longer to recover in uncomfortable or new situations.

If you're willing to put in the work, I don't see why you'd have a problem.

A note about the bloodline - Razor's Edge is an American Bully bloodline, not Pit Bull. They are two different breeds. American Bullies tend to be more laid back, potentially lower energy and less dog/animal aggressive.
