At this point, it is just playing and not full blown aggression. As for separating them, you need two crates/kennels, and kennel them side by side so they can still hear/see/smell each other, but they need their own space. As was previously addressed, they can grow up to be DA toward each other, and if not supervised and managed properly, could cause some serious damage to one another.

Okay and what about the constant whinning from the little one? Its so loud and high pitched it actually hurts your ears. Whats a good way to deal with that?

Yep, like Coach said, ignore it. If you pay her any attention, then she's gotten what she wanted, and you're essentially rewarding unwanted behavior. By ignoring it, you teach her that she's not gonna get her way and silence will get her much farther. When you crate/kennel her, make sure she's got a blanket or favorite toy or something of the sort in there to keep her company. If she's a chewer (like most pups are), then you'll not want to put anything in there with her when she's unsupervised as she could ingest something would cause internal damage and a pricey vet bill that you may or may not be prepared for. My dogs can't have anything in their crates because they eat it, no matter what it is. Only thing they've not tried to eat is their food dishes, and that's because I use the stainless steel ones, lol.
